I had no idea how much of a homemaker I was until I got married. I love keeping house. Yes, it has its ups and downs...but I absolutely love keeping our little place clean and welcoming for friends and family...and especially for my husband.
Someone made fun of me the other day for liking my house clean. I didn't have a quick retort...of course, but I responded that my husband liked it that way and so did I...
She said that I shouldn't bow to my husband's every whim. I suppose she is right...but this is something easy that I can do...and besides...he's hard at work outside mowing the lawn and pressure-washing right now. The least I can do is fold his clothes and keep his floors clean, you know?
