Why is that?

I have a really hard time going to bed early if I know James will be coming to bed later. For some reason I think he would want me to be awake, so he could tell me his stories, etc. I'm tired. I want to go to bed. But he isn't here! But he would want me to go to bed.

Why do I do that? Do you do that?

Isaac is asleep. My shoes are off...I know what I'm wearing tomorrow...I should get a glass of water and go to bed.

I guess I will. Or I'll read in bed until he comes home and regales me with tales of his day.
